Our Approach

Instruction is structured, explicit, and individualized to each student’s needs. We use researched-based methods to support skill development and long-term retention.

For reading instruction, we incorporate structured literacy approaches including Explicit Phonics, the Wilson Reading System, and Orton-Gillingham-based strategies. These methods provide clear, systematic instruction that supports students in developing strong decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills.

Math instruction is designed to build conceptual understanding alongside procedural fluency, using hands-on strategies and targeted intervention to close gaps and strengthen foundational skills.

Our Process

After an initial inquiry, families are invited to meet in person for a baseline assessment. This assessment allows us to identify each student’s current skill level and area of need.

Following the assessment, we meet with parents to review results and develop an individualized plan that outlines goals, instructional focus, and recommended frequency of sessions.

Instruction is then delivered consistently, with ongoing monitoring to support progress an adjust instruction as needed.
