In 2014, Sheri and Angelique initiated the concept of Learning Unlocked after realizing the challenges faced by students with learning differences in traditional schools while working in the Clark County School District. Recognizing the need, they swiftly earned certification in Educational Therapy and designed a learning environment to enhance foundational skills, including literacy, math, critical thinking, leadership, communication, creativity, and problem-solving. Educational therapists specialize in teaching skills and strategies that help children manage challenges and enhance their school performance. They cater to a wide range of learning or thinking differences. Their tailored approach may involve identifying underlying issues, improving focus, teaching time management, and creating personalized educational plans. Additionally, they provide a supportive environment for children to discuss school-related concerns and learn self-advocacy.

Their curriculum, designed by these innovative educators, supports children in closing learning gaps and mastering skills essential for success. Learning Unlocked, opened in 2016, quickly expanded due to high demand in Las Vegas, Henderson, and surrounding areas. Our focus is on explicit instruction for those with learning disabilities, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and English Language Learners.
